Last weekend our kids team attended the Our Lady of the Angels school Fiesta where they performed self defence Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai for hundreds of spectators 👏👏👏

What an amazing day for our team! Showcasing their skills in front of hundreds of people and inspiring more kids and parents to practice martial arts. We are so proud of all the kids that performed, 10/10 demonstrations for 30 straight minutes 🙌🏽

Congratulations to Aaron on receiving his Purple Belt under professor 👏👏👏

Aaron has not only achieved such a remarkable achievement after years of dedication but also has inspired others to continue enjoying their journey. On to the next level now! 🙌🏼

Disclaimer: We do not practice mandatory belt gauntlet ceremonies. Aaron asked if he could walk the gauntlet, which we agreed to.

The gauntlet is an old tradition for belt promotions where the practitioner walks up and down while their teammates give them a light belt tap on the back.

We do not practice this at all for anyone under 18 years old.

Happy birthday to our head instructor , the man who keeps everything together, from the mats to the admin and all the behind-the-scenes operations that make this academy what it is.

Someone who shows up every single day with passion, purpose, and a genuine commitment to giving back, not only to his students, but to the wider community as a whole.

A true role model for the next generation, an incredible teacher, a strong leader, and above all, a great person.

We appreciate everything you do and wish you nothing but the best today and always. Happy Birthday! 🎉
