🕷BECOME A JUNIOR REDBACK TODAY🕷

Bendigo United Cricket Club is welcoming primary school students from the early years right through to Under 16’s to get involved in cricket this season.

🏏 CRICKET BLAST – A GREAT PLACE TO START

Our Cricket Blast program is a great introduction to cricket for younger primary school children and kids who are new to the game. It’s all about having fun, learning the basic skills of cricket and building confidence before progressing into junior cricket.

Registration includes access to both of the following programs:
Junior Blast Skills Training
📅 Thursdays, 22 October – 17 December 2026
⏰ 5:00pm – 5:30pm
Kids learn and practise the basics of batting, bowling, catching and throwing in a fun environment.

Friday Cricket Blast Games
🏏 Structured soft-ball cricket games designed especially for beginners. Run by the Bendigo District Cricket Association, the games use modified rules to give kids the opportunity to develop their skills while experiencing the fun of playing in a team.

🔴⚫ BUCC JUNIOR CRICKET
For children ready to play regular junior cricket, registrations are also open for the 2026/27 season.

Bendigo United will field teams in:
🏏 Under 11 – Monday evenings
🏏 Under 12 – Saturday mornings
🏏 Under 14 – Saturday mornings
🏏 Under 16 – Wednesday evenings

A player’s age on 1 September 2026 determines the age group they are eligible to play in.
Junior registration is $100 plus the Cricket Australia fee.

Whether a child is picking up a cricket bat for the first time or is ready to join one of our junior teams, we’d love to welcome them to Bendigo United this season.

We have a strong focus on making junior cricket fun, welcoming and accessible, while helping kids develop their skills and a love of the game. ❤️🖤

Congratulations to Sam Haslett on signing with Bendigo United Cricket Club for the 2026/27 Bendigo District Cricket Association campaign.

The Irishman represented his country at the recent U19 World Cup and will now embark on his maiden season on Australian soil, where he’ll be looking to make an immediate impact at Harry Trott Oval.

A serious addition for Bendigo! 🔥

Congratulations to John Keeling on signing with Bendigo United Cricket Club for the 2026/27 Bendigo District Cricket Association campaign.

Set to call Harry Trott Oval home for the summer, John will embark on his maiden season on Australian soil. The off-spinner will be looking to make an immediate impact in red and white come October.

Massive news for one of our own ❤️

The Bendigo United Cricket Club couldn’t be prouder of former player Jack Bouwmeester, who has been signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in the NFL.

From his days at Bendigo United to competing with the Texas Longhorns, Jack’s journey is a testament to hard work, dedication, and backing yourself every step of the way.

To see one of our own take on the biggest stage in American sport is something truly special. The whole club will be right behind you, Jack — we can’t wait to see what’s next 👏🔥

Safe travels, TK ✈️🇬🇧

As Tom Kesteven heads back home to the UK, we want to take a moment to thank him for his outstanding contribution to the Bendigo United Cricket Club this season.

From day one, TK bought into the club both on and off the field. His impact, attitude and willingness to get around the group made him a valued part of the BUCC family, and someone we’ve all loved having around.

While we’re sad to see him go, this isn’t goodbye — just see you later. TK, you’ll always be welcome back at Bendigo United, and you’ll forever be a part of our club.
