It was an honour to attend the City of Belmont Pioneers Luncheon today, celebrating residents who have called Belmont home for more than 50 years.
This special annual event recognises the dedication, contributions, and community spirit of our pioneers who have helped shape Belmont into the vibrant and welcoming place it is today.
I was pleased to meet Cassie Rowe MLA and Federal Member for Swan, Zaneta Mascarenhas MP. Zaneta's journey from engineering to federal politics is an inspiring example of leadership, dedication, and service.
A heartfelt thank you to all our pioneers for their lifelong contribution to our community. Your stories, resilience, and commitment have helped build the Belmont we know and love today.
It was wonderful to share this occasion with community leaders, residents, and guests as we celebrated the people whose efforts have left a lasting legacy for future generations.

The Eid Volleyball Tournament was a great opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy friendly competition, and celebrate the values of teamwork and respect.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event. Looking forward to many more community activities that bring people together.
