We have 5 Illawarra girls currently playing in the South Coast team. They've been working really hard at training under coach Julia Larsen guidance. What a great start, Keep at it, girls!

Congratulations to our members Alex and Jackson, on their selection in the South Coast PSSA softball team. The boys are currently playing in North Curl Curl at a 3 day championship. They have won 6 out of 7 games so far! We wish you boys and the team, all the best for the remaining games 🥎

Our spirits were sky‑high today!

We were visited by Kate Luyten, a local softballer who’s making big plays on the world stage. Kate has been playing College Softball in the U.S.A. recently going a perfect 7‑for‑7 at the plate, helping her secure a spot in the All-Conference team.

We were lucky to catch her at home, as she just returned from touring Japan with the Aussie Futures Team. Softball Australia can spot her talent, but we got to see her generosity today as she stepped up to the plate with our junior softballers. Sharing both the field and her knowledge.

And it’s no surprise she’s a standout, softball is in her DNA, with both her parents once taking the field for Dapto Softball Club here in the Illawarra.
