Have you noticed how much easier lateral raises are when youโ€™re leaning away from something?

This is because there is less resistance at the bottom of the movement meaning less shoulder activation

Instead - try leaning the opposite way such as on an upright bench to maximise the movement and get more time under tension for more muscle growth

An insightful reminder from Melinda for anyone in a deficit - are you only relying on scale weight as a form of measuring progress?

Itโ€™s important to look at multiple objective progress forms such as measurements and the fit of your clothes to see if you are on track even if the scale weight isnโ€™t changing!

takes no prisoners ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿซ

To be fair, the reason our clients get such great results is because theyโ€™re willing to push themselves beyond what they thought they were capable of ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

And sometimes that means one more setโ€ฆ even when youโ€™re already cooked ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Who has been personally victimised by this? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

This is why coaching is about so much more than just weight loss ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ“‰
Because the real goal was never to simply lose 5kg

It was helping someone:
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Understand nutrition
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Build healthier habits
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Improve their relationship with food
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Create structure and routine
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Gain confidence in the gym
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ And become someone who genuinely values their health

The physical changes are incredible ๐Ÿ‘โ€จBut the mindset and behaviour shifts behind them are what create results that actually last

Quick fixes might change your body temporarily โœ…
But sustainable coaching changes the way you live your life ๐Ÿš€

How to get into the best shape of your life โฌ‡๏ธ

has recently completed a cut and is now reversing out (increasing food, reducing overall energy expenditure and ensuring her health markers are optimal)

Overall she has dropped 12.7kg.

How you can get into the best shape of your life โ†™๏ธ

1. Set realistic time frames. This wasnโ€™t done in 6 weeks, it was completed over 4-5 months with a pre cut (priming) phase to begin.

2. Focus on whole foods. Hunger makes cutting challenging, so focus on foods that are nourishing, fibre-rich and help keep you feeling full.

3. Eat enough Protein. Another factor for keeping hunger at bay, as well as keeping muscle density higher, that then gives you that โ€˜tonedโ€™ look once body fat drops.

4. Weight train, with intensity. Focus on getting stronger with your training and making improvements.

5. Increase daily energy expenditure (like your daily Steps). For majority of people, anything below 10,000 steps per day is not enough to get fat loss really cranking. Note - cardio and weight training considerations are also included here as they all come into play.

6. Be coachable. listened, followed the plan and trusted the process. A great client is needed first, in order to get results like this.
