Our Head Coach, Jon Fenech, spent yesterday morning with Callies legend Tommy Fergusson 💙🖤
Tommy was part of the Callies side that lifted the Ampol Cup in 1973 and was delighted to get his hands on the Lakoseljac Cup in 2026. Having played many games against Milan Lakoseljac over the years, Tommy shared some wonderful stories and memories from a bygone era of Tasmanian football.
The conversation provided a fascinating insight into the proud history of Callies, the players who wore the shirt before us, and the people who helped build the game in Tasmania.
As we celebrate our recent success, it is important to recognise and honour those who paved the way. Thank you, Tommy, for your time, your stories, and your contribution to our football community 🦁🏆
