Motiv8 Dance

Motiv8's next workshop series has landed!!

Starting on Saturday 20th June. This series will develop your lead and follow connection skills in the Latin genre over 7 x 2hr sessions!

Payment needs to be made in full to participate. Pricing for this course is very affordable ranging from $10 - $15 per hour dependant on membership.

Take your dancing to the next level, build confidence and ability in being able to dance without a routine!

This Sunday we are having our 3rd Captiv8 Cup.

Due to an amazing number of entries we are now starting at 10am! With doors opening at 9am to provide participants with plenty of practice and warm up time.

If you are not dancing, please come and join in the support and cheer crew! The more support, the more cheering the better!

There will be a designated half hour lunch break so please bring some food.

Unfortunately the lovely Gerrad is unwell today and we've had to make the decision to cancel both his 7pm & 7:45 class tonight.
Students are most welcome to join in another class or use those time for practice.

We apologise for any inconvenience and hope to see your lovely faces enjoy a night of dancing regardless.

We are exciting to be offering teaching positions at Motiv8 Dance. If you are looking for teaching work or know someone who you think would fit into our amazing community, please reach out!!

What an incredible night! Thank you to everyone who joined us for West Coast Swing Mega Friday at Motiv8 Dance last night. We absolutely loved seeing our regulars back on the floor AND getting to meet some beautiful new faces.

We’re truly humbled by the beautiful mix of experience levels in the room, from first‑time dancers to seasoned West Coasters, all sharing the joy of dance together. The way you support each other, create such a wholesome vibe, and make everyone feel comfortable is exactly what makes this community so special.

If you missed this one, don’t worry… we hope to see you at the next Mega Friday which is set to be Friday 20th February. The remaining dates for the year have been confirmed and posted in the picture below.

We can’t wait to make these nights even more accessible, fun, and community‑driven.

Until then, our weekly Beginners classes are running every Friday 7-8:30pm and are $20pp
