Newcastle Brothers United have successfully been granted sponsorship through KARI to enter a Men’s Team into the 2026 Koori Knockout.

This years knockout is being held at Kings Park Sporting Complex Raymond Terrace NSW, between October 2-5.

Match One: Australia v Philippines - Kick Off 8pm 🇦🇺🇵🇭

Northern NSW Football will host free official live sites for all three of the Matildas' group games at the AFC Asian Cup 2026, giving fans across the region a chance to come together and support the national women’s team in a family-friendly atmosphere. 🎉⚽

The free official live sites will be held on the grass pitch at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility, where matches will be shown on a big screen. Fans can sit in the grandstand of Pitch 3 (subject to availability). Or bring your own chair/picnic rug 💛💚

We are so excited to share that Newcastle Brothers is not only growing with their age groups & players for Rugby League, but we have expanded sports!

Newcastle Brothers X Newcastle Sisters will be playing in the Charlestown Koori Netball Tournament on 25th & 26th October, with a mixed team under ‘NSBU’.
