Update to last weeks post:
After careful consideration, we have decided to sell up!
A few reasons, including some health issues and losing the passion needed to race it, break it, fix it and repeat, and also that it takes too much time away from other things we want to do, including spending time with family.
This definitely isn’t goodbye to speedway, it’s just goodbye to racing.
We will continue to be there to support our daughter, two son in-laws and many friends that race. (And get ourselves mentally prepared for when the grandkids start racing!) 😳
We will still be there to spend time with, and camp with our speedway family and will no doubt be learking around the pits if anyone needs spare pit crew members!
Otherwise you’ll find us relaxing on the bank with our family and friends eating hotdogs 😂
Thank you once again to everyone that has supported us, we look forward to seeing you next season at the track 🏁

Heading out to Carrick this afternoon for our final race of the season.
It’s been an interesting season, missing out on a couple months of racing due to a necessary engine rebuild, ticking things off our bucket list racing on the mainland and back to Tassie for a few rounds before we put the car to bed for a the off season.
Next season might also be also be a little different for us, due to personal reasons we won’t be doing all the rounds, as well as gradually heading to retirement but still wanting to race when the mood strikes 😀👍🏁

Two and a half weeks of Speedway, site seeing, exploring new places, meeting new people and catching up with friends and family 🥰
