It's been an amazing summer swimming season, but cooler weather is on its way.
This week the First Basin Swimming Pool and Lilydale Swimming Pools are closing for winter, with the Aquatic Centre's outdoor facilities set to close after Wednesday, April 15.
However, the fun will continue at the City of Launceston Leisure and Aquatic Centre's indoor pools where the temperatures are warm all year round!
With a public holiday coming up on Monday March 9, it's a perfect time to visit!
The centre will be open from 8am to 6pm.
There will be no learn to swim classes on this day.

The City of Launceston Leisure & Aquatic Centre will be open from 6am - 6pm on Wednesday February 25 for the Launceston Cup public holiday.
LAfit will be open from 5.30am.
There will be no Learn to Swim classes.

Falls Prevention 🧘
Mondays | 2.15pm
A supportive, low-impact class focused on balance, mobility and strength to help reduce the risk of falls and build confidence with movement. You’ll also learn what to do if a fall occurs.
Flow 🌊
Wednesdays | 12.15pm
A recovery-focused class designed to improve flexibility, mobility and muscle repair. Expect gentle movement, core and hip work, myofascial release and foam rolling to leave you feeling looser and more balanced.
Step Aerobics 🔥
Thursdays | 6.30pm
Step to the beat in this fun, high-energy class combining classic step moves with old-school aerobics to boost endurance and burn calories. Suitable for all fitness levels.
