It was humbling to hear the tributes and recognition of everything you have given to Karate in Australia over 50 years of growth and dedication. It’s impossible to understand how far we have come if you haven’t seen where we started!🏚️➡️🏯

When we took on this very ambitious project we had no way of knowing how much our lives would change along the way, or how many obstacles we would have to overcome. The chaos persists, but so do we!

If you have been wondering why Sensei Cristy hasn’t been on the mat as much lately, it’s because - on top of her real job - she has been spending every spare minute building, sanding, painting, and literally slaving on her hands and knees to lay the floor for you to train on! She seriously has not stopped!

There is still work to do, but when it is done and she has taken some much needed time for herself, she will be back to torture you all again. Just for fun.
