CONGRATULATIONS! Mackay District bowlers will be represented in 5 of the 7 disciplines to be played at the State finals of the Champion of Champions in November at the North Mackay Bowls Club.
Women's Singles Emma Pash (Mackay City); Women's Pairs Lorna Coad, Florence Keft (Souths Suburban); Women's Fours Karen O'Brien, Maryann Harrrigan, Karina Dunn, Dealia Walsh (Souths Suburban); Men's Pairs Luke Kinnear, Manny Isgro (Airlie Beach); Men's Fours Shane Trannore, Alan Cooney, Michael Walsh, David McKendry (North Mackay).
And congratulations also to Dan Cookson (Longreach) in the Men's Singles and Rebecca Pullen, Greg Pullen (Emerald) in the Mixed Pairs.

We wish every success to the bowlers representing the Mackay District against Leichhardt this weekend at North Mackay Bowls Club.
We will be live streaming the ladies' Pairs at 9.00 Saturday and the men's Fours at 1.00pm Saturday and the Ladies' Singles at 10.00am Sunday.

Congratulations to the Beaches' Paul Foot on winning the final of the MMDBA C of C Singles against 2025 champion Wests Tigers' Phil Blackburn.
It was a game worthy of a final with both players to be congratulated on some brilliant bowls.

The MMDBA Champion of Club Champions Singles is being played on the new carpet at Club Northern Beaches this weekend.
Semifinals this morning:
Paul Foot (Beaches) V Geoff Ollett (North Mackay); Ray Kurtz (Souths Suburban) V Phil Blackburn (Wests Tigers).
