Look like SRH are on their way to create another record tonight in their match against KKR 156-1 in 11 overs

Dewald Brevis delivered a sensational performance for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in today’s IPL 2025 match against the Gujarat Titans (GT), scoring a blistering 57 runs off just 23 balls. His explosive innings propelled CSK to a formidable total of 230 runs, marking one of the highest team scores in the tournament’s history.

Despite their strong batting lineup, including top-order stalwarts like Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill, and Jos Buttler, GT’s middle order has shown vulnerabilities in recent matches.

Given this context, GT’s ability to chase down the 231-run target set by CSK remains uncertain. Their success will heavily depend on a cohesive performance from both their top and middle-order batsmen. A victory would not only showcase their resilience but also solidify their position as table-toppers in the league stage.

The Indian Test squad for the upcoming five-match series against England has been announced, marking a new chapter with Shubman Gill named as the captain. This decision reflects a strategic move towards youthful leadership and long-term planning, as India kicks off its 2025-27 ICC World Test Championship campaign. The series will take place across iconic English venues including Lord’s, The Oval, and Headingley, starting on June 20, 2025.

The squad features a blend of experience and emerging talent. Notable inclusions are Karun Nair, Sai Sudharsan, and Shardul Thakur, indicating the selectors’ intent to refresh the side with dynamic options suited for English conditions. The BCCI has clarified that Jasprit Bumrah, a crucial figure in India’s bowling lineup, was not considered for captaincy to preserve his fitness and longevity.

Gill’s appointment as captain signals trust in his temperament and cricketing acumen, having already shown maturity in various formats. The team’s composition aims to balance aggressive play with adaptability, critical for success in swinging and seaming English pitches. This new-look squad promises excitement and a potential shift in India’s Test cricket narrative under young leadership. Fans and experts alike are keenly watching how this transition unfolds during the high-stakes series.

'Don't know what he was thinking': Rahul's astonishing leave 08/11/2024

I think the way KL got out today show his current star of mind. He needs to take a break and then start playing some domestic cricket to regain his confidence.

'Don't know what he was thinking': Rahul's astonishing leave India A star KL Rahul didn't offer a shot to Corey Rocchiccioli's first delivery in the second innings at the MCG as the ball deflected between his legs and onto the stumps

A magnificent win for RCB under pressure to qualify for playoffs.
A team effort to win their sixth in a row.
Take a bow 🙇 RCB.

I didn’t understand this move from MI in the last nights game.
To me this sums up why a successful franchise like MI ended up getting the wooden spoon in the competition.
Nicolas pooran did hit two consecutive sixes against Arjun Tendulkar in the 15th over and Arjun was immediately take off the field and Naman dhir was given the ball to fill in and LSG scored 17 runs in the next four balls he bowled.
Going in to the game Hardik is aware that he is leading an inexperienced bowling lineup and appositions will try to capitalise on it.
Arjun was very impressive with the new ball and he gave away only 10 in his two overs spell.
He was given the ball in the 15th over when every bowler was under pressure including Hardik himself.
The Role of a skipper is to support your player and guide them under pressure and I didn’t see that from MI skipper in last nights game.

In my opinion he killed the confidence of a Young Star.

It's a rain of sixers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium last night where more than 500 runs scored in a single match that includes 38 sixes highest in any T20 game.

In my opinion this is the best batting lineup the Sunrisers ever had, especially their middle order.
Their bowling is strengthened by the addition of their skipper Pat Cummins

As I mentioned in my preview yesterday, this match is a contest between Klaasen and Bumrah.

Klaasen scored 80* runs in 34 balls with a strike rate of 235.29 and Bumrah went wicket less for MI.
Travis Head and Abhishek sharma also scored some quick runs for Sunrisers.

MI batters kept attacking the Sunrisers bowlers from start to chase the highest ever score registered by an individual team in the IPL history(277 runs).
Every Incoming MI batter played with a positive intent and kept scoring runs. The way Tilak Varma batted looked so promising. MI were in the game till the 14 over it was the 15th and 16th overs bowled by skippers PAT and Unadkat that pulled the game back towards SRH's way. Skipper removed the settled Batter Tilak in the 15 th over and just gave 3 runs and following that Unadkat just gave 5 runs in the 16th which made the run rate jump to more that 20/over

Overall this is a game of high quality power hitting that entertained the fans on both sides. Even Though MI lost the game I am Impressed with their positive approach in chasing the highest target. 28/03/2024

After loosing to Superkings in the season opener Royals will face the kings tonight.
In their last match Royals middle order got dismissed for cheap and in my opinion they are shot by 20runs.
Kings had a great start to their campaign by winning against Capitals. Livingstone finished the game in a style in the last over and they would like to continue their winning streak tonight.
Winning the home games is very important in a tournament like this and RCB need a win to boot their confidence.
Both sides have got some quality player and my bet is on RCB with their fans behind them.
