IT’S ALMOST GO TIME!!!😁

The 2nd Annual Micros on the Murray is almost here, and we can’t wait to get back to Dragway at The Bend for another huge weekend alongside the AirTouch 500.

There’s been a massive amount of work going on behind the scenes, including a completely reshaped race track, and with the weather forecast looking fantastic, we’re pretty excited to finally get everyone there and go racing.

Here’s some important information for competitors and race fans ahead of the weekend.

THURSDAY
Bump in will be available from 10am.
Competitor and crew sign on will be open from 10am to 4pm.
If you’re arriving outside these hours, there will be 24 hour security on site.

A pit and camping map will be sent directly to drivers as we get closer to the event.

FRIDAY
Sign on will reopen from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Transponder registration will be available from 9.30am.
Cars will hit the new track for practice from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, before racing gets underway from 6pm.

SATURDAY
After another massive day of Supercars action, we’ll be back under lights with racing again from 6pm.

Once competitors and crew have signed on, your event band gives you access to the entire AirTouch 500 Supercars event across all three days.

For Supercars fans wanting to take in some speedway action, Micros on the Murray is included in your Supercars ticket, with shuttle buses running to and from the Dragway.

We’ve assembled a fantastic field from across Australia, including current Australian Champions Indy Rae and Logan Carter, and we’re genuinely looking forward to seeing what everyone can do on the completely redesigned track.

We learnt plenty from our first event last year. We’ve put a huge amount of work into making this year’s event better, and now we’re simply excited to welcome everyone back to The Bend and see the new track come to life.

🏁 Outlaw Karts Australia Announcement 🏁

Outlaw Karts Australia is pleased to announce that Speedway Australia has approved the expansion of the Beginner Boxstock division, with the minimum eligible age now reduced to 5 years.

As part of this exciting change, participation in practice events will be essential. A competency checklist will be provided to all Stewards to assist in assessing whether drivers have demonstrated the skills and confidence required to safely compete in race events.

OKA would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the development of this proposal, as well as Speedway Australia for their support and approval.

This amendment will come into effect on 1 September 2026, alongside the release of the updated Outlaw Karts Australia Rulebook.

We look forward to welcoming the next generation of young competitors to the track! 🏁

Competitor entries, crew passes and speedway camping are now available for the Second Annual Micros On The Murray, returning to Shell V-Power Motorsport Park and Dragway at The Bend on September 11 & 12, 2026.

Featuring POWRi Microsprints, Junior Microsprints and all Outlaw Karts Australia classes, this unique event once again forms part of the incredible AirTouch 500 weekend at one of Australia's premier motorsport venues.

Every competitor entry and crew pass includes three day admission to the AirTouch 500, plus two nights of Micros On The Murray, giving competitors and their crew the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable weekend of motorsport.

Camping in your race trailer within the speedway pit area is FREE, with powered sites also available through Dragway At The Bend.

We're incredibly grateful to Dragway At The Bend for once again inviting us back to be part of this amazing event.

NSW Outlaw Karts state title wrap up.

Great news the inaugural OKA Annual General Meeting was held on the 4th of July. The meeting was very positive for the growth of Outlaw Karts in Australia with all state member clubs aligning well for a single vision moving forward.
The minutes have been posted on our website.

OKA team are currently working through the rulebook updates / corrections for an implementation date of the 1st of September 2026.
