New kart. Never driven, never tested.
New track layout. Never driven, never tested.
New mechanic. Met Friday afternoon.

And once again, Oskar just fu***ng delivers. 🔥

After qualifying P6 at iROC Ipswich, we discovered a crack in the FA chassis that couldn’t be repaired. Marcos Flack stepped up with an Energy chassis, giving us the gap between Quali and Heat 1 to swap everything across.

Oskar rolled out for his first-ever race in an Energy and immediately went THREE TENTHS faster than the entire KA2 Junior field. 💜

Despite starting back from Quali, we fought forward all weekend. Oskar led the Final, got pushed wide in a move that dropped him to P4, reset and started pumping out purples again to finish P3. 🥉

We also went from 5th to 3rd overall in the Pineapple Series. 🥉

Huge thanks to Ethan Feather for stepping up at short notice to mechanic for Oskar with Adam Mercer unavailable. First weekend together and straight onto the podium. 👊

And massive thanks to Marcus Flack for the Energy opportunity. Oskar will now represent Energy as a factory driver at AKC next weekend. ⚡️

2026 Queensland State Titles – Bundaberg 🏁

What a weekend.

Heading into Bundaberg, we really didn’t know what to expect. The only laps we’d done here were on a road trip with Derek from Power Republic around 6–8 years ago, and they were in pouring rain. Safe to say we weren’t coming in with much track knowledge.

This was Oskie’s first Queensland State Titles in KA2, and what a weekend he put together. With two of the category’s front-runners racing at their home track, we knew it wouldn’t be easy—but Oskie was on fire all weekend.

Friday was all about getting the tyre pressures right. Once we bolted on a fresh set, the kart came alive.

Even better, this was the same engine that fouled two plugs at the last AKC round at Ipswich. We pulled it out of the box, fitted a new spark plug, and it never missed a beat.

A huge thank you to Adam Mercer and Jo, who worked tirelessly all weekend. Oskie was right there on the tools too—he wanted to be involved in every adjustment and took real pride in making sure everything was spot on.

That put us P3 for the final.

Oskie grabbed the lead by Turn 2 before getting absolutely bombed and driven over by several competitors. Instead of letting it get to him, he regrouped, put his head down and charged back through the field. He grabbed P3 on the second-last lap and P2 on the final lap after an awesome drive.

Couldn’t be prouder of Oskie and the whole team. A massive effort from everyone involved, and plenty to take away as we look towards the next one. 👊🏁

Bundaberg P2 TeamWork

Behind every driver is a great team… and this weekend we’ve added another fantastic member to ours. 🇦🇺🤝🇬🇧

As we head into Round 2 of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy in Sarno, Italy, we wanted to give a huge shout-out to Fusion Motorsport and team owner Zac for stepping in to help us when we needed it most.

With Round 3 of the Australian Kart Championship being held on the same weekend, many of the mechanics we’d normally call on were either committed to teams back home or racing themselves. Add the cost and logistics of international travel at the moment, and bringing someone from Australia simply wasn’t practical.

After getting to know Zac and the Fusion Motorsport crew during Champions of the Future in 2024, I reached out to see if they could help us out. Without hesitation, Zach made it happen.

We’re incredibly grateful to welcome Hayden Phillip’s to Team Oskar this weekend. Hayden will be on the tools as Oskar’s mechanic, bringing plenty of experience and local knowledge of the Sarno circuit.

The funniest part? Within about 10 minutes of meeting each other, Oskar and Hayden were carrying on like they’d been mates for years. A few people have even joked Hayden could pass as Oskar’s twin brother… or maybe even Matt Hillyer! 😂

It’s been an awesome start to the weekend, and we’re excited to see what we can achieve together.

What a weekend at the Joseph Bianchini Memorial Cup in Griffith.

After wrapping up the Victorian State Titles in Albury, the team made the trip across to Griffith — and it did not disappoint.

The weekend kicked off Friday night with a random grid draw, setting the tone early.
Oskar pulled P3 in KA2 and just outside the top 10 in KA3.

From there… it was game on.

Saturday was huge — 4 heats across 2 classes, over 150 laps for Oskar against some of the best in the country, including state champions and AKC winners.

And all weekend — the pace was there.

➡️ Front row starts in both finals
➡️ Strong, consistent speed across both classes
➡️ P3 in KA2 & P3 in KA3

A bittersweet finish in the finals — got pushed back early, fought his way forward, and was right on the back of the leader ready to make a move… only for a lap kart to get between them and take away a real shot at the win.

$2,500 on the line — yeah, that would’ve been nice… but that’s not what this weekend was about.

This was real racing.

No protests all weekend.
Clean, respectful driving.
A proper family atmosphere.

Friday night said it all — pasta, pizza, music, a few drinks, and everyone enjoying being at the track together.

That’s what we’re here for.

Not the blue plate.
Not the green plate.
The memories.

Massive respect to everyone who made the trip — especially from interstate. They support our events, so we show up for theirs.

And this one means more than most.

The inaugural Joseph Bianchini Junior Memorial Cup — a special event for a special young bloke, and someone Oskar was proud to call a mate.

To walk away with podiums in both classes here… that means something.

We’ll be back every year to support it.

AKC Round 1 – Coffs Harbour 🇦🇺

What a way to kick off the 2026 Australian Kart Championship.

We rolled in Thursday for practice, into time practice Friday, and qualified P18 to start the weekend. Not where we wanted to be, but we knew we had more in it.

Through the heats, we made solid progress, moving forward in both races and finishing just outside the top 10.

Started P15 in the pre-final → finished P12.
With drop-downs shaking things up, we lined up P15 for the final.

Got pushed back early to P18… but this kid dug deep.

Charged back through the field to finish P8, setting purple laps along the way and holding the fastest lap of the weekend — the only driver in the 47’s 🔥

Massive effort.

This was also Oskar’s debut in KA2 at AKC level, with only two prior club rounds under his belt — a huge step up, and he absolutely delivered.

ROUND 1 – PUCKAPUNYAL 🔥🏁

What a way to kick off the series.

Round one at Puckapunyal — an AKC track (one of only five national tracks in the country), so any time you get laps here, you take it. With nationals on the radar, this was a massive weekend for development.

Running both KA2 & KA3 — two completely different driving styles — with only one class in between. That meant a six-minute turnaround before jumping straight back in. 34-degree heat, big day physically and mentally.

Qualifying Results:
▪️ KA3 – P5 out of 39
▪️ KA2 – P7 in a seriously competitive field

Being new to KA2 and adapting to that racing style, the progress was strong all weekend.

Final Results:
🏁 KA2 – 8th overall
🥈 KA3 – 2nd overall

In KA3, got pushed wide into the gravel off the start and dropped back to 8th… drove it back through to 2nd. Massive fightback drive.

Big few weeks of testing ahead as we build toward nationals.
