Pawan Saini Man of the series, played Consistently throughout the tournament as he scored 506 runs which include speical knock of 200* runs in 89 balls & took 13 wickets

The Grand Final was a landmark day for Werribee Lions Cricket Club, as it marked the realization of a nine-year journey. Pawan Saini a cricket virtuoso, played a pivotal role throughout the tournament and scored 74 runs in the final, demonstrating his unyielding passion. The batting lineup was impressive, with Dev Bhinder and Jatinder Bhatt providing a solid start, while Kamal Maan played with agility in the middle order. Dr-Alamgir Khan and Manik Kochhar concluded the innings with style. The bowling performance was exceptional, with Rapinder Pannu and Kamal taking two wickets each, and Bhatt, Taran Multani , Alamgir, and Manjeet taking one wicket each. Sharp catches and run-outs played a crucial role in securing the victory.

Hey kids, I just wanted to say how proud I am of all of you! You guys have been playing some tough cricket in challenging weather conditions, and it's not easy. But you've all shown great spirit and determination, and that's what matters most. Of course, it's disappointing that we didn't win, but that's all part of the game. We'll have plenty more opportunities to play and win in the future. For now, let's just focus on learning from our mistakes and having fun.

Today's game was truly exceptional, a jaw-dropping experience. Ishan, your bowling was impressive, particularly in the last over when you took wickets on the last ball with two runs required from one ball. Adwith's catch was remarkable, especially considering the numerous dropped catches earlier. He fulfilled his role as an Impact Player and made a significant impact. Yuvam, your batting was outstanding, with an unbeaten 50* runs. Abhayraj and Darshveer contributed 23 and 21 runs, respectively, with swift batting alongside Yuvam. The rest of the team provided additional support with single-figure scores. Ishaan's bowling earned him the Player of the Match award, with 5 overs, 18 runs, and 4 wickets.
