Hi Everyone!

Unfortunately our lovely garden has been the victim of a theft that occurred likely last weekend or anytime between Wednesday the 17th to Sunday the 21st. The objects removed include:

1 x Handmade scarecrow called Chester 😞 (photo attached)
2 x Currant plants (dug from the ground)
1 x Raspberry plant (dug from the ground)

Various annual vegetable crops were taken as well (which we generally don't mind but judging by the circumstances we are not happy about it)

We have contacted the relevant university bodies about the theft. Our team is quite disheartened by the loss.

If anyone has any information or saw any suspicious activity around the The Patch (located behind La Trobe library), please feel free to contact us on our page.

In the meantime we will keep on doing our thing!

Do you want to get into growing plants, but never have the time to water or look after them? Well it looks like you're in the need for some succulents πŸ˜‰

Succulents are super cute, and can be planted amongst other succulent species to make a dazzling micro-world that needs little care for maximum reward!

In collaboration with the La Trobe Population Health Students' Association (PHSA), we will be co-running a workshop on Tuesday the 24th of May on how simple it can be to take and pot up succulent cuttings, helping you shake off some end-of-semester stress!

We hope to see you there πŸ™‚
