A reminder that we will be closed on Friday 25th for the public holiday.

🥇 Tournament – Friday 4th October
Get those entry forms in ASAP — this tournament is suitable for everyone: kids, teens and adults.
We’re also looking for volunteers to help on the day (canteen, general officials, etc.) to keep things running smoothly for all our visiting clubs. If you can lend a hand, please let us know!

🎃 Halloween Disco – Saturday 24th October
Get those costumes ready and practise your dance moves — it’s going to be a super fun night!
Everyone is welcome, not just karate members. We have plenty of room for everyone to come along and have the night of their lives.

❤️ Charity Fight‑A‑Thon – Thursday 7th November - Supporting It's Okay not to be Okay
Fight‑A‑Thon forms are available at the dojo now. Grab one and start gathering sponsorship for your participation on the day.
We’ve also attached a list of other ways you can help make this event a huge success. If you’d like to donate anything or help in any other way, please let us know.

A huge shout‑out to YoWays Bayside, First Choice Accounting Services, Back In Motion, Bakers Delight and Wendy Robjant for already kindly agreeing to donate prizes and vouchers for our special day. We appreciate your support!

🥋 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR KIDS WHO GRADED OVER THE WEEKEND!

Your efforts were outstanding and every single student passed — a huge achievement and something to be very proud of.

A massive thank you to our assessors who generously gave up their Saturday to help grade the students, and thank you to all the parents and families for your continued support.

Wear your new belts with pride, and let’s look ahead to our next goals and the steps we need to take to achieve them.

Gradings aren’t over yet — our teens and adults will be attempting their next grades this Saturday.

We’ve got a lot happening at the dojo over the coming weeks, so please keep an eye out for event dates and important information.

🎉 Happy 14th Birthday Kenshin Dojo! 🎉

Fourteen years ago today, we held our very first open day and officially started Kenshin Karate Langwarrin. Back then, we had just 19 students and operated out of St Jude’s Hall — and look how far we’ve come!

A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to our amazing journey over the past 14 years. We’re still going strong, and there are many more years to come. 👊💚

Day 2 Musashi Cup done and dusted. What s great day. Well done everyone. Spirits were high and everyone fought so well.
Results are :
Mahlea 1st place
Pierre 2nd place
Ethan 2nd place
Ed 2nd Place.
Malakai and Macklin were also amazing.
Next tournament is our very own on 4th October. Let's train hard and be ready for that.

Day 1 of the Musashi Cup in Geelong.
Peter competed in the all abilities kata and did an amazing job. Super proud of him.
Sempai Ed and Sensei Leanne competed in the black belt kata with Sensei Leanne placing 1st and Sempai Ed placing 2nd in a very close kata off.
Well done to our kata competitors.
Day 2 is the full contact tournament. Stay tuned for further updates.
