These artists were invited to a Pole Workshop at themissfillyinstituteofpole and what an incredible experience it was.

Elyshia Sampson took them through a range of static and spin pole skills.

From shapes, inverts and slides… we all learnt how to work on a new apparatus.

We can’t wait to see how they use their new knowledge to influence and inform their art and movement.

Truly matching our ethos… and going BEYOND an artist normal.

Every aerial performer knows…

The hard work and stress that can happen behind the scenes.

But here’s a reminder for us all… the audience doesn’t know what you went through to get here.

All they know is the version of you that you present to them.

So present the version of you that is capable, strong and confident.

Because that person is you! 🫵

As we prepare for our next performances at Bend The Air this is the perfect time to remind ourselves of some important things:

💚 Honour the version of yourself that believed you could! At some point you decided you would do it, you would try and that you were going to be brave. Remember that!

💚 Every step is a step. No matter how big or small it may seem.

💚 It’s just you, the lights and the crowd out there. HAVE FUN!

💚 You’ve already done the hard work. This is the easy bit!

💚 Forget ‘perfect’ and aim for ‘real’ instead.

You’ve been stretching wrong! 😱

Our favourite Osteo .jarvis.2.0 payed us a visit to talk all things injury prevention, aerial anatomy and age appropriate strength training.
