Dhaulagiri NZ narrowly defeated the Michael Gadsden pair of To The Nines and Bizzness Class in the Jeff Gadsden Memorial Pace, the feature race on today's program. Congratulations to trainer Matthew Horsnell, driver Hannah Lewis and all connections.
Jeff, along with many of the people featured in today's race names, was a life member of the Robinvale Harness Racing Club. Some races mean a little more than others. ❤️
The Jeff Gadsden Memorial Pace was always going to be a special one, but today’s result made it even more meaningful.
Congratulations to Dhaulagiri NZ, trained by Matt Hornsnell and driven beautifully by Hannah Lewis, on taking out the win. 🏆
And in a moment that feels incredibly fitting, Jeff’s son Michael finished second and third, a result that makes this race so much more than just a race.
To have Jeff’s name, his memory and his family all come together on the track is something truly special.
A beautiful tribute to a much loved man, and a day that will be remembered. ❤️
