Just a quick one to remind everyone that we are back on Monday at 6pm for the latest JDC season. For anyone looking to give darts a try this is the perfect time to get started! So if you're interested please do not hesitate to get in touch.

For all our returning juniors and coaches please wear your darts shirt on Monday so we can get a group photo after our JDC presentation. Hope you all enjoyed your two week break and we're looking forward to seeing you all again on Monday!

Congratulations to Liam and Cameron who for the second year in a row will both be playing on the SDA stage to decide our Junior Champion. A big thanks to all the juniors who took part yesterday along with all the parents who jumped in to help score games.

A big night at the Sunraysia Junior Darts Academy last night!

First we finished off our Green Zone Championships which seen Annalise go back to back! This is our annual handicapped competition which is part of the SDA Club Championships. Congratulations to Anna who defeated Liam in the final, not an easy task, even with a handicap! We have to mention Liam's semi final win as well where he hit a 180 and averaged around 72.

Then it was on to our end of season presentation. Liam became only our second ever member to achieve a black ribbon and at 14 he is the youngest. Liam has been with us since he was 11 years old and it's great to see him achieve this milestone. Our next mover was Patrick who decided that white and purple weren't for him and jumped straight to a yellow ribbon! This shows the dedication and practice he has put in when not at the club.

Next up we have the SDA Junior Championships on Sunday. This is our 501 straight in double out comp and the two finalists will get to play on stage in front of the whole club on Saturday 4th July! Names in by 1pm.

Congratulations to all our winners and a big thank you to all the coaches and parents who have helped out over the last two weeks!

We have a big month coming up for the juniors!

- Monday 15th June: Our GreenZone Championships kicks off. This is our handicapped event and it normally runs for two weeks depending on entries. Only current academy members are allowed to enter.

- Saturday 20th June: Sunraysia Open Youth Masters. Names in by 8am for an 8.30am start. All players must be affiliated and dress code applies.

- Sunday28th June: SDA Junior Championships. This event is open to all SDA juniors not just academy players. We will kick off at 1pm and if numbers are sufficient we will run a separate girls event this year.

Like I said it's a big month ahead for our juniors and we're all looking forward to seeing how they go! Any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

With repairs to the club finished we were finally able to get back on the boards on Monday night and we kicked off season 2 with our season 1 presentation. On the 'dark side' we only had one player step up a grade with Ollie moving up to yellow. Ollie has made fantastic progress this year and we're all looking forward to seeing how far he can go!

Marie's juniors had their presentation as well with Patrick coming out on top closely followed by Charlie (Robbo). In the chasing pack Violet managed to snag third place. Last but not least Patrick officially became 'one of us' and was awarded his JDC shirt after completing two full seasons.

A great start to the season despite a forced absence. Thanks to all the juniors, parents and coaches who make this academy as rewarding as it is to run! See you all on Monday!

Very happy to say that our academy will be back up and running on Monday night at our usual time of 6pm. A big thanks to everyone on the SDA committee who worked hard to get the club reopened.

We'll start the night off with a quick presentation and then we'll get into playing some darts!

Unfortunately I've been informed that we still won't be able to run the academy on Monday night due to repairs taking place. We're all hopeful we'll be able to return on Monday 16th. Will keep you updated as we know more.
