Fitting in takeaway foods, is part of being a mum, school sport, weekends away, family dinners with extended family, weddings is all part of what I coach my mums on daily.

Because let’s face it, s**t does not always go to plan as a mum, and if you don’t have a back up plan, for the back up plan, you’re doomed to blow out and feel like a failure.

If you’re looking for a simple way to understand your calories, comment “macros” below for our free macro calculator!

After having a baby we all want to shed that baby weight as fast as possible to feel like ourselves again.

We can get lost in all the information online, wanting to lose weight but have it not impact our milk supply.

This is where ensuring that we are eating enough of all the right foods (and some sweet treats too) is going to set you up for success.

Encouraging movement even a walk to get out of the house, reset your mind, get fresh air, get those endorphins flowing. It’s not just for weight-loss but also for mental health.

If you look after yourself from the inside out the results you’re wanting will just slowly begin to show, just like Korina.

If you want results like Korina,

“There’s no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ food... just what you do all the time foods vs sometimes food.”

Don’t let the video fool you.

You get stuck in all-or-nothing thinking:
Salad = good
Chocolate = bad
Smoothie = good
Wine = bad

That’s not how fat loss works.

Your body doesn’t judge food - it responds to patterns.

If something moves you closer to your goals → do it more often.

If it slows you down → do it less often.

Do more of what works.
Do less of what doesn’t.
Repeat.

No guilt. No labels. No BS.

I wish I knew this earlier, it would have saved me years of stress and starting over.

If you want a clearer handle on your calories and portions, l’ve got a free resource for it.

Comment “macros” and I’II DM you 💌

✨ Unfinished Her Check-in ✨

Anyways, life got busy… birthdays, sick kids, I got sick, work & life.

6weeks between these photos. 1kg difference in these photos (I’m heavier now, but shape is improving)

My lowest weight was 55.7kg and back up to 57.5kg.

So what happened?
Well, I noticed I was falling into the same pattern. Slacking in my training, being more lenient with food etc.

So I got a COACH!

This is a new experience for me working with a coach. I knew that it was time for me to set myself up for success, and hiring a coach to take the decision fatigue away, to hold me accountable and to push me to be better is what I needed.

We decided on a season for me to compete and a plan to get there. I am reversing out of my deficit to go into a building phase to allow us to make some improvements to my physique.

So, here’s to the improvement season 🫡

If you’re a mum trying to lose fat, there’s some pretty basic, no brainers that will help you along the way.

Essentially when you’re in a fat loss phase, you want to keep calories low, volume high.

We have something in our program called a lifestyle phase, this is where you hit your goal and you work on maintaining that number, so caloric density and food volume doesn’t matter as much and you can have typically more flexibility with food types.

Because you don’t want to be dieting for your whole life, but if you do it once and do it right, you’ll never have to do it again!

The loop most mums repeat is the “all or nothing behaviour” or “I know what to do, I just need to do it”

In order to break that loop you need someone to hold you accountable. Just like Dani…

Having someone looking from the outside, in to hold you to your promises, to guide you when times get hard, to push you when you start to slack off is why hiring a coach could be the difference in being able to ACTUALLY reach your goals.

Little back story into my why’s.

I hated myself for years, drowning myself in anything to not feel like that. I hated that after Lyla was born, I had little to zero help when I thought my body was broken and would never be the same again.

For me if I can help just 1 woman to learn to love themselves, to strive to be the best version of themselves, to have the support and guidance through every season of life then my mission is complete.

Have you even tried weighing out your food?

It sounds like a lot of work, and is going to take up so much of your already limited time.

You only need as long as it takes you to plate up your food to weigh and log it.

Some other things that saves me time and make my life easier to stay on track.
1. Kitchen scales live on your bench. Don’t put them away, this is one extra step you need to do to weigh out your food.
2. Component prep. Cook and prepare your protein, vege, carbs. This saves so much time throughout the week, and allows you to mix and match to keep it interesting.

Do you find weighing out your food too hard?

Not a great start but a lesson learnt early.
