We’re committed to developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople through hands-on mentoring and real project experience. Our apprentices don't stand on the sidelines; they work alongside experienced builders, learning the attention to detail, precision and pride that define every home we deliver. Every exceptional home begins long before walls are raised or finishes are selected. It starts with meticulous planning and precision below ground where carefully excavated footings lay the groundwork for a home designed to stand the test of time. Each footing has been accurately positioned to support the architectural vision and while this stage may appear understated, it is one of the most critical milestones in the construction journey. Hidden beneath the finished home is the engineering, craftsmanship and structural integrity and all the elements that provide the confidence to create expansive living spaces, striking architectural forms and enduring quality.

What makes this room exceptional is its versatility. It is equally suited to a quiet evening with a glass of wine, a competitive game of pool, watching the big game with friends, or hosting celebrations that effortlessly spill from one activity to the next. At Nineinsix we love designing spaces that work hard without appearing to—where craftsmanship, comfort and lifestyle exist in perfect balance. The result is an entertaining retreat that feels every bit as luxurious as the rest of the home, while remaining warm, welcoming and unmistakably lived in.

This façade is a striking lesson in understated confidence — contemporary architecture delivered with precision, balance, and timeless appeal. The rich red brickwork, framed by crisp black steel detailing, creates a bold yet refined exterior that feels both robust and elegant. We love it so much we call it "The Office".

This backyard landscape from one of our projects in Regional Victoria showcases a series of beautifully crafted timber portals which transforms a simple garden path into a striking architectural journey, drawing the eye effortlessly through the space while creating a sense of movement and anticipation. As sunlight filters through the structural frames, light and shadow dance across the pathways, adding depth and texture that evolves throughout the day. Beyond aesthetics, the design creates an experience.

This kitchen island at our Bentleigh project is a striking example of how contrast and craftsmanship can elevate everyday functionality into a true design feature. The deep matte-black cabinetry brings a sense of sophistication and weight to the space, grounding the light-filled interior with confidence and elegance. The low-angle perspective highlights the island’s scale and craftsmanship, transforming what is often a practical centrepiece into something undeniably luxurious. It’s a kitchen designed not just for cooking, but for living — refined, inviting, and effortlessly modern.

The kitchen in our Hughesdale project is a quiet triumph of modern restraint with a palette of soft oak, natural stone, and warm lighting to create an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and deeply calming, allowing craftsmanship and materiality to take centre stage. The herringbone flooring grounds the space elegantly, adding movement and timeless character beneath the restrained palette.
