What are the differences between Sq**rt Long Lasting L**e, E-bike Wax and Low Temp L**e?
What are the differences between Sq**rt Long Lasting L**e, E-bike Wax and Low Temp L**e?
Sq**rt Long Lasting L**e
Is our original wax-in-water emulsion specifically formulated as an effective bicycle chain lubricant requiring minimal maintenance.
E-bike Wax
Demands on the drivetrain of an E-bike are higher than on regular bikes. With the higher average mass of E-bikes, nearly constant assistance from the electrical motor and rider input, more power is transferred to the drivetrain, specifically the chain. This results in more demanding operating conditions for the lubricants to ensure components last as long as possible. As such our E-bike Wax formula contains high-pressure additives and friction modifiers to restrict disproportionate chain wear.
Low Temp L**e
Lubricants tend to thicken at temperatures below freezing, increasing viscous drag and reducing efficiency. This happens to both oils and wax-emulsion l***s like Sq**rt. Although Sq**rt is a dry-to-touch lubricant once the water has evaporated, it performs best in a certain temperature range. Waxes tend to get brittle at extremely low temperatures so to maintain optimum functionality at these temperatures, we specifically developed Low-Temp l**e.
The modified congealing point formula in Low-Temp l**e maintains performance at very low temperatures by stabilizing wax consistency. Suggested operating temperature range: minus 20℃ (-4℉) to 5℃ (40℉)
It is however important to note that the l**e in the bottle should not be allowed to freeze as it is a wax-in-water emulsion. It should be stored and applied at temperatures above freezing and left to dry before riding, preferably indoors.
Once it has dried and the water has evaporated, only the wax is left on the chain. The Low Temp wax is designed not to harden in the extreme cold.

Introducing Ergon’s new ergonomic pedal the PT
The PT pedal features an anti-slip and long-lasting grip tape that's going to facilitate a good stance on the pedal. The edges of the paddle are rounded and soft to reduce injury in case of unexpected leg contact.

Introducing Ergon’s new ergonomic pedal the PT
The axles are positioned slightly off the centre line, as many riders just put their foot centrally on the pedal. Doing this leads to misalignment of the transverse arch, where most of the power is transmitted. When this is out of alignment, power transmission is reduced.

Introducing Ergon’s new ergonomic pedal the PT
Many pedals that ship as stock with bikes are quite small, and have a frame rather than a flat platform. This smaller surface creates pressure points on the foot - especially when you're wearing light, flexible shoes. This is why our pedal comes in two sizes: small for shoe size up to EU 42 and large for sizes EU 43 and up.

Introducing Ergon’s new ergonomic pedal the PT
The pedal has a slight "S" shape. The rear part of the pedal is a bit lower than the front in order to remove pressure points at the back of the foot, which helps improve comfort. The front part of the pedal is a little raised, improving the intuitive positioning of the foot on the pedal, and also securing the foot on the pedal while riding.

Introducing Ergon’s new ergonomic pedal the PT
Improves the alignment of the foot and the position of the foot on the pedal. The inner stop guides where to put the foot on the pedal. This is going to help to put the whole chain in one line. That means that the foot, the ankle, the knee, and the hip will be in a straight line. This improves kinematics and power transmission.
