🏉 ROUND 9 DRAW IS HERE! 🏉

We’re back for another Monday night of Moranbah Touch! 🙌

A few quick reminders before we hit the fields:
🏃‍♂️ Please make sure you’re ready for your reffing duties, check the draw carefully so your team knows when and where they’re needed.
📋 Refs for the first games: please grab your field folder/scorecards from the canteen before the first round starts.
✅ Teams, players and refs, make sure scorecards are completed and signed correctly.

🌴 Holiday break incoming!
Round 9 will be our last round before the school holiday break, with games returning on Monday, 12 October.

So enjoy the night, play hard, have a laugh and finish this part of the season on a high! 😎🏉

🏉 ROUND 8 – MORANBAH SENIOR TOUCH 🏉

The Round 8 Draw is here! 🙌 We’re into the back half of the regular season now, so make sure you check your game times and reffing duties and pass them on to your teammates.

A few quick reminders as we head closer to finals:
✅ Players must be fully registered to take the field.
✅ Please continue to follow the competition By-Laws and respect players, referees and officials.
✅ Players can only represent the team they are registered to during finals.
✅ Players must play a minimum of 5 games for their team to be eligible for finals.

📢 The next referee course will be held this Sunday from 9:00am.

The course will run until just after lunch (sandwiches will be provided).

The course is Free for Mackay Touch participants, please email [email protected] to receive the registration link and discount code.

Please bring a notebook and pen, hat, running shoes and a water bottle.

Just a reminder that our final trial session is at 5:00pm today.

Unfortunately, we didn’t receive enough interest to form two teams, so we will be selecting one final Senior Cobras Rep Team consisting of:

👨 Males: 8 players + 2 reserves
👩 Females: 6 players + 2 reserves

The final team will be announced on our page tonight 👍

📣 MONDAY NIGHT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🏉🙌

We’re looking for a few helping hands every Monday to assist with field setup and pack-up for our weekly Touch Football fixtures.

Jobs include:
🔹 Filling any holes and checking the fields
🔹 Setting up fields, markers and equipment
🔹 Setting out barrels and chairs
🔹 Setting up the PA system
🔹 General setup and pack-up to make sure everything is ready for games

Our competition relies heavily on volunteers, and we simply can’t run our Monday night fixtures without people helping behind the scenes.

Even 30–60 minutes of your time makes a huge difference! 💙🩷
