How good was Interschools? A staggering 6000+ race starts, 8 days of cheering and excitement and so much talent on display. Congratulations to the skiers, snowboarders and the team effort to deliver this massive week on and off the slopes.
In the depth of winter there was a mix of fire and magic …
with the first mid-winter markets in the village. Chestnuts roasting, lights twinkling, we danced, sipped mulled w**e, cheered for our golden girl Jakara Anthony and ooh-ed and aah-ed at fireworks.
The community came together – locals and visitors as one under the lights.
Local hero Jakara took time to share her story with the next generation of snowsports athletes and showed the kids what’s possible with dreams and determination.
