Last weekend marked 1 year since we opened the doors to our new space.
The vision was simple. Create a place that felt clean, minimal and comfortable. Somewhere people could train, learn, grab a coffee and spend time with good people.
It’s been a big year with plenty of challenges and a lot of growth, but I’m incredibly grateful for the community that has formed around this place.
Welcome to Week 4 of the Ballarat Marathon Training Plans.
This week’s key workout is the Mona Fartlek, named after Australian distance running legend Steve Moneghetti.
A true staple built around rhythm, control, and smooth gear changes.
Huge thanks to Mona for sharing the insight behind one of Australia’s iconic workouts.

Proud to be involved in building the training plans for 2026.
Our goal was to create plans that are accessible to as many runners as possible, while still being flexible enough to fit around busy schedules.
Building a program for a wide range of abilities is no small task, and a lot of thought has gone into making these plans practical, well structured, and supportive right through to race day.
The marathon training plans kick off tomorrow – January 5th, 2026 (link in bio).
