Did you know that we're an accredited provider of COTA's Strength for Life program?

Strength for Life is a valuable exercise program created to help people over the age of 50 improve their physical strength, fitness and social connection.

Our program is open to the general public and run at the Community Wellbeing Centre, where you'll also find the region's only hydrotherapy pool.

We have some exciting news to share regarding our search for a permanent Chief Executive Officer.

Declan Moore has been formally announced as Boandik’s new CEO and is set to take over from Glenn Rappensberg in September.

Glenn was employed as Boandik’s Interim CEO in May while our Board of Directors embarked on an extensive national recruitment process.

We would like to thank Glenn for his leadership over the past 20 weeks.

Declan will officially succeed Glenn in the role of CEO in September and will be based at Boandik’s Lake Terrace site in Mount Gambier.

Where’s a great place to exercise in winter? …

The Boandik hydrotherapy pool of course!
Have you visited the Community Wellbeing Centre at 101 Lake Terrace East and experienced the wonderful warmth, water resistance and therapeutic benefits of hydrotherapy?

It is open to everyone to use. It is not just for Boandik residents and clients. All the general public are welcome.

You can use it for your own leisure or rehabilitation or exercise routine; or we also offer Aqua fitness classes if you wish to have some exercise and fun in the water with a group to music.
