Murrumbateman Baggy Blues Our team runs as a squad system, so players aren’t required to commit every weekend throughout the season (October to March).

The Murrumbateman Baggy Blues is a local cricket club founded by a group of passionate Murrumbateman residents to compete in the Friday night T20 Sweeney Cup and the Saturday 40-over Triggs Shield run by the Yass Valley Cricket Association. Our home ground is the Murrumbateman Recreation Grounds and we also play at nearby villages and on the turf wicket at Victoria Park in Yass. We proudly thank the local businesses that support our club and help keep community cricket thriving with a special mention to Mitch and his team at the Murrumbateman Country Inn. Players of all ages are welcome, if you’re interested in playing or getting involved, please send us a direct message on our page, we look forward to welcoming you!

The Murrumbateman Baggy Blues are looking for new players to join us for the 2026/27 Summer Cricket Season!

Whether you're an experienced cricketer, getting back into the game, or keen to give it a go for the first time - we'd love to hear from you.

🏏 Played through the Junior Yass Valley Cricket Association
