🌭 WHAT. A. DAY! ❤️💚💙

A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who gave up their Sunday to make our Bunnings BBQ fundraiser such an incredible success.

From the early setup crew to the cooks, servers, runners and pack down team — your effort, teamwork and willingness to jump in wherever needed made the day possible. We know it was a long day, and we’re so grateful for every person who contributed.

And to our players, families, supporters and wider community — thank you for showing up, grabbing lunch, stopping in to say hello and supporting our club. Your support means so much.

Yesterday’s effort by the numbers:
🌭 Close to 800 sausages sold
🧅 At least 25kg of onions cooked
🍞 40 loaves of bread used
🥤 Almost 175 drinks sold

An incredible effort all around and a fantastic result for our club.

The money we raised will go directly back into supporting our players and helping ensure they have access to opportunities, equipment and experiences that continue to make our club a great place to play, develop and be part of.

We’re excited to announce a new partnership with San Churro Kotara, a proud local business that shares our commitment to community, connection, and supporting young athletes.

Just like the traditional chocolaterias of Spain, San Churro Kotara is a destination for friends to come together and share a sweet moment. Churros (Spanish doughnuts) are hand-crafted in-store using a traditional recipe and delivered straight from the Spanish churrera to your plate.

💙Round 6 Wrap Up💙

Another great (dry!!!) weekend of netball for our Fletcher Blue Jays teams!

This round also marked First Nations Round, and we are incredibly proud of the way our players, coaches and families represented our club. It was wonderful to see our Blue Jays take to the courts with respect, teamwork and sportsmanship.

A reminder that you'll see some of the smiling faces from our committee and our amazing volunteers this Sunday at the Bunnings Wallsend BBQ. 🌭

Every dollar raised goes straight back into the club to support our players and families, so if you can, please come down, grab a sausage sandwich and show your support.
