And that’s a wrap on NSW IODA OptiChicks 2026! 💕⛵️

What a weekend of sailing, new friendships, incredible female mentors, trying new things and seeing just how many places sailing can take you.

From Optimist sailing on Pittwater to Elliott 7s, our Women in Sailing panel, a sleepover at the Club and plenty of fun in between, the weekend was all about bringing girls together, building confidence and showing them what can come next in sailing.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend possible — our coaches and female mentors, panel guests, volunteers, parents, participating clubs, the RPAYC team and all of the organisations and businesses who got behind the girls.

The message we hope every OptiChick took home was a simple one:

Say yes to opportunities.
Support the girls around you.
And keep sailing. 💕⛵️

We can’t wait to see where it takes you.
