The 2026 Artistic Roller Skating National Championships have now come to a close!

A special congratulations to our Summerland Rollers skaters:

🥇 Charli Turner – 1st Place, Juvenile Girls Solo Free Dance and 4th Place, Juvenile Girls Solo Dance
💙 Jasmin Van der Heijde (coach) - 4th Place, Masters Ladies Solo Free Dance and 6th Place, Masters Ladies Solo Dance

Both skaters have worked incredibly hard, showing dedication, perseverance and a true love of the sport. Their commitment has paid off, and we are so proud of their achievements.

An honorary mention for Lacey Newby – 1st Place, Preliminary Ladies Solo Dance. Lacey is a dual member of and Summerland Rollers, competing under the Pine Rivers Banner and coached by the fabulous Jodie Garufo.

Congratulations to all the athletes, coaches and families involved. What an amazing way to finish the 2026 National Championships! 💙🛼

✨ World Skate Oceania Artistic Athletes Camp – Brisbane ✨

Last weekend, our skaters and coaches had the incredible opportunity to attend the World Skate Oceania Artistic Athletes Camp in Brisbane 💚🛼

They learned so much, challenged themselves, and most importantly had heaps of fun alongside talented skaters and coaches from across the world.

The message they’re bringing home with them says it all:

“May this skate camp and seminar pave the way for many achievements to come. Stay committed, keep improving, and always aim for excellence.”

We are so proud of the dedication, focus, and positive attitude our skaters showed throughout the camp. Experiences like these help shape not just better skaters, but confident, motivated athletes for the future.
