ABCRA LEGENDS SPORTS DINNER – AN EVENING NOT TO MISS!

Inviting campdraft competitors, North Star locals, as well as the Gwydir Shire and beyond… join us for a memorable night celebrating some of the great names in Australian sport and the ABCRA community.

We’re bringing together three of Australian football’s greats – Ned Hanigan, Trent Barrett and Matt Burke – for a very special evening hosted prominent sport commentator, Andy Harper, at North Star.

Hear firsthand from these sporting legends as they share stories from their careers, alongside ABCRA Legends who have helped shape the rich history and tradition of our Association.

Guests will enjoy a delicious three-course meal, live entertainment from award-winning country music artist Jake Whittaker, and a relaxed evening celebrating sport, community and the people who have made their mark!

That's a wrap on our 2026 NRL tipping comp! Congratulations to SIMON D — your 2026 champion on 134 points! 🏆

It was a photo finish at the top: Jed P and Bill & Sam M tied for 2nd on 131, with Darren H (130) and Michelle H (128) rounding out a stacked top 5.

Season honour roll — perfect rounds: Darren H (Rd 1), James H (Rd 16), Harry L (Rd 17), Henry & Elise (Rd 20), and Laura P and Michelle H (both Rd 22).
