Diamond League Join the action – Play. Compete. Win. The Diamond League is for ANY players who want to participate in a competitive league structure.

Sydney’s premier pool league for over a decade, now at Club9. 32 teams, cash prize pool, trophies, live-streamed finals, and the perfect mix of fun, fair play, and competition. Using our proprietary grading and scoring system, teams only score points by winning games, not by potting balls. While players are graded, there is no match handicap in this league, all teams will play off scratch, but there are limits to team rosters

The scoring system supports lower-graded players and puts more pressure on the better players to perform in an environment that actively supports player improvement.

How we score: the Scalp System

Every game in Diamond League has 20 points at play.

Our unique points and "scalp" system ensures that:
✔ Newer players are supported, not penalised
✔ Wins truly matter
✔ Games are exciting, competitive, and always within reach

How it works

Win a game and you score your opponent's scalp value. Lose and you score zero.
Scalps are based on FargoRate. The bigger the rating gap, the bigger the split, from 10–10 up to 18–2. The full table is in the second image.
Singles use the standard Scalp System.
In Scotch Doubles, each pair's FargoRate is the average of both players' ratings. The gap between the two pairs sets the points exchange from the same table. Scotch Doubles results are not reported to FargoRate.

Bonus points (8-Ball, 10-Ball and Scotch Doubles)

Break and Run: 4 points (BR)
Table Run: 2 points (TR)
Enter BR or TR in the BCAPL Scoring App.
