Our Reserve Grade hit the field at 11:45AM, followed by our First Grade at 3:15PM.

The Oakdale Workers community is shattered to hear of the passing of Lily Hooper.

Our deepest condolences, thoughts and love go out to the entire Hooper family and all of Lily’s friends and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. 💜

Yesterday, both grades came together to honour Lily’s memory, wearing purple armbands and observing a minute’s silence before the games.

From everyone at Oakdale Workers, we stand with the Hooper family and our wider community during this heartbreaking time.

Unfortunately our LLT went down in their semi final on Friday night but they went out there wearing purple bands on their right wrist, their black arm tape, purple ribbon and a minute silence for our local beautiful girl Lily. A great bunch of girls that all came together fresh at the start of the season to work together and build a great season. 🎀🖤🐻

As a community we are devastated to hear the sad news of Lily.
Lily was a young keen bush walker who comes from a wonderful family and we wish to extend deepest condolences to them.

Well done to a great season by our third grade side. Turning up each week and giving their all. Unfortunately missing out on finals for the 2026 season.
