LivFit had a great couple of days at Everything Disability Expos!.... I met some amazing people and my beautiful sister in-law, Alison, dropped in for a visit and a dance with some pompoms! 🥰

Everyone had a great time at their first LivFit Dance class! They went home practicing and showing their parents all the moves they learned for their new dance routine. Looking forward to dancing with these amazing dancers again next week! 🌟

Hi! 👋 A little bit about us… 🩷

I’m a mother of three and a qualified Personal Trainer. My eldest daughter, Olivia, is 16. Olivia has Down syndrome and is the light of my life. 😇

Olivia has always wanted to play basketball like her brother and dance with her friends. However, the only local programs available were either mainstream or specifically for children with Down syndrome. Many of Olivia’s friends from her specialist school don’t have Down syndrome, which meant there was nowhere she could dance or play sport with them without feeling a little left behind in a mainstream setting.

I always encourage Olivia to stay active, and I noticed that when she put on boxing gloves and punched the air to her favourite music, she was not only incredibly happy but also improving her fitness.

And that’s how LivFit was born! We created sports programs, dance classes, and fitness sessions designed for all abilities.
