💜
Today we remember Kristy Armstrong.
A loving and devoted mother to three beautiful daughters, Kristy’s world revolved around her girls. She was a treasured daughter, a cherished sister, and a loyal friend whose kindness touched so many lives.
Kristy’s selflessness knew no bounds. She carried a child as a surrogate for her best friend, giving one of the greatest gifts imaginable — the gift of family. It was a reflection of the caring, compassionate, and generous person she was.
Three years ago, Kristy’s life was taken far too soon as a result of domestic violence. While her life was tragically cut short, her love, strength, and memory continue to live on through her daughters, her family, and the many friends who were fortunate enough to know her.
Today, we honour Kristy. We remember her beautiful smile, her loving heart, and the countless lives she touched.
Please join us in remembering Kristy and standing against domestic violence.
💜 Leave a light on for Kristy.
💜 Say her name.
💜 Never forget.

Every ticket = prevention in action.
The money raised from Kangaroo will fund Love Bites and Love Bites Junior, evidence-based respectful relationships programs for young people aged 11–17.
By equipping schools and facilitators, we’re helping young people learn about consent, respect, and healthy relationships — preventing violence before it starts.
Together, we’re building a safer community and continuing Kristy’s legacy.

Check out the new winter indoor softball comp being run by ODSA. This will include a special round to raise funds for NAPCAN’s Love Bites program, to continue what we started in Kristy’s memory through Home Base 💜
🧡 Hey, here’s an idea... 🧡
As EOFY rolls around, why not ask your boss to sponsor a team in the Social 7’s Indoor Softball League?
For just $1,000, your workplace could cover the entry fees for a team of 10 players, and you can even organise a custom playing shirt with your work logo on it. It’s a great way to:
* Boost staff morale
* Promote health, fun, and connection
* Show your brand out in the local community
And hey… write it off as team-building 😉
Games are on Friday nights during Term 3, starting August 1 – indoors, short and sharp, and packed with good vibes.
Tag your boss or forward this post to your workplace crew. Let’s get some office bragging rights on the line!
