🏉 2026/27 SEASON UPDATE — REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN! 🟢🟡

There are some important changes coming to junior rugby for the 2026/27 season, with age grades returning to the even-number structure.

Here’s what families need to know:

✅ U5 and U7 will remain as they are
✅ Age grades will then progress through U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16
✅ Tackling will commence from U8
✅ Competitive junior rugby will now begin at U14
✅ U14 will also be the point where boys and girls transition into separate teams

These changes are designed to create a clearer player pathway and better align junior rugby in the NT with the rest of Australia.

Please note that Palmerston Raiders club fees have not been added to the Rugby Xplorer registration, so at this stage you will only be charged the applicable competition fees through Rugby Xplorer.

👕 Uniforms can be purchased directly through the club.

We are also looking for enthusiastic and committed coaches for the following teams:

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on:

We invite all members, parents, volunteers, coaches, managers, and anyone interested in the future of our club to come along.

The AGM is an opportunity to:
✅ Review the past season
✅ Elect the 2026/27 Committee
✅ Discuss plans for the upcoming season
✅ Help shape the future of junior rugby at the Raiders

Our club is built by volunteers, and we’re always looking for passionate people who want to make a positive difference for our players and families. Whether you can take on a committee role or simply lend a hand throughout the season, we’d love to have you involved.

Support the Under 14’s Boys NT Rugby Union Mozzie's Squad as they travel to Townsville to compete in the Queensland Country Rugby Union Tournament.

This fundraising 100s club and raffle will help cover essential travel, accommodation, and team kit costs, giving these young athletes the opportunity to represent the Northern Territory on a national stage.

A big congratulations to Harry and Byron for making the U14 Boys Mozzie Squad. Great to see some our our Raiders lads in the team.

It’s been a busy few weeks for us with all of our rep squads working with our team of coaches.

Today we are excited to announce our U14 Boys Mozzie Squad.

We can’t wait to see them out there on the field over the next few months before they travel to Queensland to compete against other states.
