MASH Netball Club

year since 2012, working with SHCPS and MCC netball teams as well as Palmerston & the rural community. Starting out with just two junior teams in 2012 and growing to nine junior teams in 2015; Sharon made the decision to form a club to better support community needs and the development of netball in the region. The majority of games have been played through the Palmerston Netball Association (PNA), and Mash Netball Club Inc. will continue to play the majority of games in 2016 with PNA, however, will commence playing in the Darwin Netball Association (DNA) as well. With just over 80 players making up nine teams in four different age groups, from both SHCPS and MCC, 2015 was a very successful year with SHCPS Netball winning the 11/U Grand final and MCC Netball winning the 15/U & 13/U Grand Finals. Mash Netball Club will establish itself as a club that will provide an introduction to netball for players new to the game of an age starting from seven upwards; developing and encouraging our junior teams; supporting Seniors and Div Teams & growing our coaches and umpires. It is our mission to

Encourage and promote Netball in the Northern Territory, particularly in the Palmerston and rural area. Provide opportunities for participation in the sport of Netball including playing, coaching, umpiring and supporting. Supporting pastoral care initiatives in the community by providing a safe and healthy alternative for Children and Adults. Our club has been founded on volunteers with a passion and a dream to provide “netball for life.”

We need you to support the club and we are always looking for volunteers who have a passion to coach, umpire, manage, play and support. In return you will be supported by people with experience and the same passion. Committee
