NAATIYA ARANGU 2026

"Akam Naatiya Arangu" commenced with the auspicious 'Mangala Vilaketruthal', marking the beginning of a beautiful evening celebrating Bharathanatyam, dedication and the arts. 🪔✨

The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was led by Guru Anursha Tharmarajah, Founder of Natyakshetra and Guru of Karthiga Manoharan, alongside Dr Chandrika Subramanian of Tamil Valarchi Mandram, Rajeswary Nirmaleswarra Kurukkal, Seran Sribalan of Rasana Dance Theatre and Councillor Sujan Selvan.

We are deeply honoured to have had such esteemed guests join us for this special occasion and to bless the first Akam Student Showcase. ❤️

🪔 May this light continue to guide and inspire our Akam family on their artistic journey.

வர்ணம் – சகியே ❤️

A beautiful Kalakshetra composition taught to me by my teacher. 🤍

It's been so special revisiting this piece and discovering the subtle nuances I missed in my younger years. Every time I return to it, it reveals something new. ❣️
