🏌️‍♂️ VAL INVITATIONAL 2026 — WHAT A DAY! 🍻

What a bloody day! The Val Invitational was an absolute cracker from start to finish. ⛳️

A massive thank you to Val for putting on such an incredible day and looking after everyone. From the beers, the seafood feast, and finishing it off with KFC — you absolutely went above and beyond, mate. We genuinely appreciate everything you put on for the crew. 🍻🦐🍗

We had an absolute ripper of a round at Mona Vale Golf Course. What a beautiful course and an amazing place to play, with the weather putting on a perfect day for golf. ☀️⛳️

Great golf, great food, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, great mates.

From all of us at PI Social Golf Club, thank you again, Val. We really appreciate your generosity and the effort you put into making the day one to remember.

What a day. What a course. What a crew.

🏆 ANNOUNCING THE ADAIR MEMORIAL SPIRIT OF THE CLUB SHIELD 🏆

❤️ In memory of Adair

PI Social Golf Club is proud to announce the introduction of the Adair Memorial Spirit of the Club Shield, created to honour Adair’s memory and recognise a member who truly represents the spirit, values and mateship of our club.

This award is not about golfing ability or performance. It’s about recognising the person who makes PI Social Golf Club a better place to be and who goes above and beyond for their fellow members and the club.

🏆 WHAT DOES THE AWARD RECOGNISE?

The recipient should demonstrate some or all of the following qualities:

⛳ Club Spirit – Brings a positive attitude, enthusiasm and enjoyment to the club.

🤝 Mateship & Friendship – Makes members feel welcome and builds strong friendships within the club.

🙌 Helping Others – Willingly lends a hand, supports fellow members and contributes to the success of club events.

🏌️ Participation – Regularly gets involved in golf days, social events, fundraising and other club activities.

🏆 Sportsmanship – Shows respect, fairness, good humour and a positive attitude towards all members.

❤️ Giving Back – Makes a meaningful contribution to PI Social Golf Club and its community spirit.

🗳️ HOW TO VOTE

All current financial members are eligible to vote, excluding committee members.

Committee members are not eligible for this award:

• Jared Watty – President
• Ross Duggan – Club Captain
• Neil Duggan – Handicapper
• Michael Bray – Secretary
• Mel Bourke – Treasurer
• Damien Strutt – Committee Member

📝 Voting closes 1 November 2026

📄 Voting papers will be handed out to financial club members over the coming days.

Once completed, voting papers can be handed directly to the President or handed in to bar management.

Let's come together as a club to recognise someone who embodies what PI Social Golf Club is all about — mateship, friendship, good times and giving back.

This is a special award in memory of Adair, and we look forward to celebrating the first recipient of the Adair Memorial Spirit of the Club Shield. ❤️

⛳ PI Social Golf Club – More Than Just Golf.
