It’s been a little bit quiet on the socials…. But not behind the scenes.

Mindfullness practices 🌿
A simple way to incorporate a mindful practice into your day is to use the '5, 4, 3, 2, 1' excercise. Identify 5 objects around you, 4 different sounds you might hear, 3 textures you can feel, 2 smells and 1 taste (such as a refreshing cup of tea 🍵). You can work through the list from 5 to 1 or just focus on a couple.
Caption: Image shows a clear glass tea cup with herbal tea ingredients in the cup with tea and dry ingredients around the cup placed on a wooden table.

Midweek Mindfulness-
Random acts of kindness 🥰
Something we often forget we can do for others, but luckily children can remind us. The other morning my daughter decided to colour in one of our 'random acts of kindness' worksheets to give to one of my students to ‘make her feel happy’- IT WORKED. A ❤️ note in a child’s lunchbox, a thoughtful text message to a friend, taking in the neighbours bins, there are so many ways to be kind and make people feel special that don’t have to cost a thing. Kids are so good at doing these things from a really genuine place and as we get older and more busy we often forget about it. This week be the reason that someone else smiles ☺️

Did you know we offer private 1 on 1 classes as well as small group sessions in the home? 🐵
Every Yoga Equality student is provided with their own plan for personal and carer use. Working on a plan together is an important way to identify and achieve specific goals for a student, and helps make practice more appealing (and fun!).
These 3 cheeky monkeys are siblings, we practice together weekly. Practicing in the home together makes doing an activity more accessible for this super special family.
Find out more about what we do on our website.

Handwritten testimonials are hands down the best!
Alice is 9 and has been practicing weekly at her home with her little brother who is 6 and older sister who is nearly 12.
Watching siblings smash their goals together and cheer each on is so rewarding. The progress these 3 have made in 5 weeks is phenomenal.
If you would like to know more about what we do or how we can work with you drop us a line 📧 [email protected]
