Sunday morning study - Elliott slept at Nannies for the second night last night so I’m taking all the opportunities!

A huge part of my role is to keep up and refresh on areas in which I train clients. This one in particular is so important and under delivered in standard PT qualifications. I’m looking forward to brushing up and being your go to when it comes to training for pregnant and post-natal exercise. ⭐️👏🏼

Did you know that when you receive your online tailored program, you also get complete video instruction? Pretty cool!! 💪🏼🙌🏼

On days likes these ones a few months back I was spending sunny days on the balcony filming exercise instruction videos to overide the existing library that’s built into the app, adding that personal touch. 🙋🏼‍♀️


6 week Tailored Programs include access to the above as well as your initial appraisal and consult so I can understand:

⭐️ The support system you have and/or need
⭐️ Your fitness levels and technique
⭐️ Any health history and/or risk factors

I received this photo yesterday from my beautiful friend Sheridan who gave the June Challenge a go and did so well! She was so proud of herself as am I and felt pretty chuffed to be apart of her fitness journey. Her goal is to get her 5km run in under 30minutes 👏🏼👏🏼

These two absolutely crack me up.
We completed a post program appraisal and they absolutely exceeded their own expectations and made me so proud to tell them how many extra push-ups they could do, how many more crunches they could do, the extra time they stayed in a wall sit - (this may have also been their secret songs they were listening too in their headphones individually and cracking themselves up) I LOVE their energy and commitment to improving their health. New programs are being written with increased strength and intensity and that makes me SO HAPPY! This is what it’s all about and why I love what I do 💪🏼🙌🏼

A quick run this afternoon with my sister as we didn’t have much time. We each worked out what our next 5km goal was and halved that time to complete 2.5kms instead.
Cathryne’s was 14 mins for 2.5 and mine was 15 mins. We did it in 14:26! Whilst we weren’t sure we would sustain the same pace for an extra 2.5km we certainly felt like it was a challenge and really happy with that session!

If you don’t have the time or wanting a shorter goal, don’t feel you NEED to do the 5km in one go. Break it down and build it up 👏🏼

Evidence I ran this morning! And.. I beat my time! 32 mins 👏🏼🥰
Multiple things going through my mind here;
A: keep running to stay warm (3 degrees)
B: I really need one of those arm bands to hold my phone because my bum bag thingo is annoying
C: can’t wait for my coffee
D: Is 5kms up yet?

This starts tomorrow! Head over to my FB Group: Online Challenge Series and join to become apart of an active community of likeminded souls looking to challenge themselves. Fitness challenges will be released regularly throughout the year and first up we have our
JUNE 5km!!

Here’s how it works ➡️

JUNE: 5km Challenge (1st to 30th June)
Outdoors or Treadmill
🔸
1. Set yourself a baseline. That could be walking or running as far as you can in one session. You may need to do run/walk intervals or even walk the whole distance. Record this distance & time.
2. Set yourself a GOAL. (ie By the 30th June I want to take 10 minutes of my 5km time). IMPORTANT: Set achievable & measurable goals. You may like to set multiple goals within the month.
3. With your baseline, work on beating this distance within your set time or keeping the same distance in a faster time. Record your results.
4. Post your progress pics or a selfie enjoying your workout in this group. on your post and I'll pop you into a draw to WIN a fitness bundle to help you keep active this winter including a voucher to Brooke Harper Tailored Fitness!!
5. Remember this is YOUR goal to PERSONALLY achieve and not to compare yourself to anyone elses - YOU HAVE GOT THIS!
