For the next 24 hours, we're going pink on our socials in honor of Kumanjai Little Baby.🩷

We do so in solidarity with the family, the Alice Springs community, and all communities who are heartbroken over this loss.

Pink was Kumanjai Little Baby's favourite colour.

Join us for a FREE Cultural Workshop with Aliwah Cultural Enterprise Sunday 12th April, 11:00am – 2:00pm at Whiteman Park (Keith Maine Centre). 📍

Come along to learn and experience Noongar culture and dance in a safe, welcoming space. This workshop is open to young people aged 6–17, with parents and carers warmly invited to join in and be part of the day. 👣

We’ll be sharing culture through movement, Artefacts showcase, and storytelling and there’ll also be a free sausage sizzle for everyone to enjoy. 🪃

This is more than a workshop; it’s our way of giving back and honouring the Elders and knowledge holders who have shared with us, so we can continue carrying culture, connection, and story for the next 80,000 years. 🔥

Congratulations to the following athletes who have been selected into the 2025 Aboriginal Development Academy!

The Academy athletes have been meeting fortnightly to receive coaching, mentoring and personal development opportunities as they work towards achieving their full potential – both in netball and in life.

To celebrate their progress and showcase their skills, Netball WA will host a tri-series competition:

Good Morning,

On behalf of our committee, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every single person who took part in this year’s Perth Pacific Cup 🏐🌏.

To our players – you represented our mob with pride, passion, and integrity ✊🏽🔥. You played with heart, carried yourselves with respect, and showed the power of sport to bring people together. We’ve received outstanding feedback from other Nations about the way our teams conducted themselves – not just on the court, but in the way they supported each other, respected the umpires, and upheld the values we stand for. That’s something we can all be proud of 💯👏🏽.

A massive thank you also goes out to our parents, volunteers, and committee members – your support, time, and dedication make everything we do possible 🙌🏽💖. From behind the scenes to courtside, your commitment doesn’t go unnoticed.

A huge shoutout to our Open Mixed Team – ALIWAH – for taking out the tournament and defeating New Zealand in a cracking final! 🏆🇦🇺🇳🇿 What an incredible game to watch and a proud moment for all of us. Your teamwork, skill and determination were inspiring – deadly stuff! 💪🏽🔥

While we celebrate all the positives, we also need to address an incident that occurred during the event.

We want to be clear: we do not condone violence or aggressive behaviour of any kind 🚫👊🏽. These events are more than just sport – they are about culture, connection, and creating a safe space for our young ones to thrive 🖤💛❤️. Our kids are watching us, learning from us, and they deserve to be surrounded by positive role models who carry themselves with respect and dignity 🌱✨.

If, for any reason, you feel you’re not able to represent those values – we ask that you please reconsider your involvement. This space is for uplift, not conflict. Everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and respected 🤝🏽🫶🏽.

Just a respectful reminder – our coaches, managers, and committee members are all volunteers 🙏🏽. They give up their time to ensure our teams have opportunities to grow, connect, and compete. We know things aren’t always perfect, but we are doing our best. What we ask for in return is understanding, respect, and patience 🤗💬.

Lastly, we want to say a massive thank you to our ongoing sponsor – Roe Legal ⚖️💼. Your continuous support over the years has been more than we could ever ask for.
