So a few days ago during racing, Taj Ward’s bike was stolen—but we are so incredibly happy to say it has now been returned 💙
We are grateful to everyone who helped—especially the Shepparton BMX Club. It’s been a tough and emotional week for Taj and his family, and the support has meant everything.
A special thank you to Nathan May, who went above and beyond from the very start—offering his own bike and helping behind the scenes to find Taj’s. Truly amazing.
To the BMX family and Shepparton community, thank you for sharing, supporting, and stepping up. There are so many people to thank—we appreciate every single one of you.
Taj is reunited with his bike and, despite everything, finished 22nd in his age group—qualifying for the World Championships.

Race Day 1 in Shepparton and the riders are ready, the team is pumped 👊

After announcing our
yesterday, today we’re celebrating an Australian Champion! 🇦🇺
• Hayley Wolfenden – 🥇1st place, 35–39 Women
To top it off, we’ve had a huge number of riders qualify for the UCI World Championships in Brisbane 🌍
I couldn’t be prouder of the entire team 👊👊 Good luck to everyone today.
The team was announced one day and the next we have a national champion, congratulations well deserved 🏆
