πŸ”₯⚽ ASC FUNDAMENTALS – WEEK 5 ⚽πŸ”₯

Last week we saw our young footballers put everything they've been learning into practice, with the focus shifting towards gamesβ€οΈπŸ–€

Over the past month, players have been developing their dribbling, passing, ball control, attacking and defending skills. Saturday's session gave them the opportunity to bring those skills together in realistic game situations, building confidence, teamwork and decision-making under pressure. βš½πŸ™Œ

It was fantastic to see so many players backing themselves, encouraging teammates and enjoying the challenge of putting their learning into action.

A huge congratulations to our Players of the Week πŸ‘πŸ†

We would also like to thank our program sponsors:
πŸ”‹ Battery World (Armadale) for their continued support of ASC Fundamentals.
πŸ• Domino's Pizza Armadale (WA) for supporting our weekly Player of the Week awards.

These photos capture just some of the smiles, effort and achievements from another great morning at Alfred S***t Reserve. πŸ“Έβ€οΈπŸ–€

🚨 MEDIA RELEASE🚨

Armadale Soccer Club is proud to announce a new partnership with Proseed Football, becoming one of the first junior programs in Western Australia to pilot the Proseed Player Analytics System during the 2026/2027 season.

This partnership places us amongst a small and growing group of clubs willing to challenge how junior development is traditionally understood. While experience and observation remain central to coaching, the introduction of structured, player-focused analytics marks a shift toward deeper insight, clearer communication, and long-term thinking.

Proseed Football’s analytics system has been specifically designed for junior environments, capturing meaningful performance and development data without losing sight of the human side of the game. Rather than focusing on isolated statistics, Proseed tracks patterns, progression, and context across weeks, seasons, and age groups β€” helping coaches, players, and parents better understand what development actually looks like over time.

β€œJunior football is about more than winning on the weekend,” said Osric, Founder of Proseed Football.
β€œIt’s about creating the best possible environment for learning, confidence, and long-term progression. Data doesn’t replace coaching wisdom β€” it sharpens it.”

For Armadale Soccer Club, the decision to pilot Proseed is not about following trends. It reflects a belief that junior football deserves the same level of thought, care, and intelligence as the professional game β€” adapted properly, applied responsibly, and always in service of the player.

β€œAt junior academy level, our responsibility is to give players the best possible foundation β€” not just for the next season, but for the next stage of their football journey,” said Kevin Brophy – Junior President.
Partnering with Proseed allows us to better understand how our players develop over time, support our coaches with clearer insights, and make more informed decisions that benefit both the individual and the team.

This pilot reflects where we believe junior football is heading, and we’re proud to be exploring that path early.”

The 2026/2027 pilot program will help shape future approaches to junior development, coaching practice, and the role of analytics within grassroots football.
