A great read!
They are the Nadal and Djokovic of their game, but that game is tiddlywinks
Two champions, an American and a Brit, face off yet again, hoping to "squop" their opponent and collect tiddlies.

Throwback Wednesday... is that a thing?! Celebrity winking history!
Stars of "The Goon Show" (Series 8, Episode 24, 10 March 1958) -- namely Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers, and Harry Secomb -- playing tiddlywinks.
His Royal Highness Prince Philip, a noteworthy tiddlywinks fanatic, appointed the goons his Royal Champions. They proceeded to lose big time, and afterward plotted revenge. "Tonight we attack Trinity College Cambridge, the heart of the tiddlywink country!"
Here's a newsreel clip about the Goons at Cambridge:

This precursor to "Monty Python" was extremely popular, and the goons' interest in the game of tiddlywinks caused a spike in popularity throughout the UK and eventually in the US, Australia, and Canada.
