“Study the past to define the future”

TLDR: it’s ok to mess up once in a while, just gotta make sure you don’t get cooked.

First, we learn discipline through hard work.
Then we reverse the process & re-learn discipline through restraint.

Undergoing a strenuous training reveals a lot about ourselves. What we do good, what we can improve on & what we don’t know are 3 different learnings which compliments one another as a whole.

Some days we remind ourselves:
“Just because I can, doesn’t mean I should”

If you tell yourself:
“I’ll try not to unalive myself”
Way too many times,
Maybe it’s time to change.

Some days, we fight like there’s no tomorrow,
Most days, we live to fight another day.

Whether it’s good / bad.
Don’t forget to enjoy the process.

Hello! It's your boy Leo here!

It took me a good-long-while to decide to post this.

I realised I've never actually - really promoted my services and why I did it in the first place. So here it goes:

I first started my Fitness endeavour with learning to program because I love the Methodologies and Process involved in getting strong and being lean. But I have always thought to myself, can I actually coach myself to be strong, healthy and look good naked while being functional at the same time?

I spent months and years trying and experimenting stuff, some worked but some just didn't cut at all. Then I discovered Powerlifting where I got hooked straight away. After around 4 to 6 months of training and having my mates told me I should compete, I finally stepped on the platform of a Powerlifting meet. Little did I know, that was the first step that would one day lead me to represent Australia at World Championships in 2019.

I recently had a thought about the people around me and my close mates.
- What if, they actually wanted to get a better physique / to perform better / to get to know about exercise?
- What if, they were like me before? They had doubts but have nowhere to go to?
- What if, they actually wanted to try but was never really ready?

The list goes on but all I wanted to was to contribute on the betterment of the society.

We know that COVID-19 has affected everyone in the world and most people including myself and my friends couldn't really move outside or do anything, I simply could not fathom how debilitating that is physically and mentally. While it is still happening, I believe that this pandemic will end soon and all of us will have a new normal.

Ok so, as we know October is actually: mental health awareness month. Lately, I have seen so many people promote mental health here and there via social media but if you realise something, its that it doesn't actually do anything significant.

Let's draw a line between sympathy and empathy. Both of them are virtuous in nature. But, which one has more impact? I would say the latter.

> WHY are you doing this? <
A year ago today, I was at my lowest because life presented me something that contradicted my beliefs and principles. I had no one beside me but I was fortunate to crawl back up after losing the job I always wanted but still be here today. I just want to reach out and make people be aware of their own well being / just get to know themselves better. I want to make 2021 a better year for all of us and the earlier I do it the better.
