“I never turn the fridge off.” Paul Economidis has his priorities sorted.
On his BreakseaX, Hundred Percent, twin solar panels keep the fridge running around the clock. There’s a WA jarrah benchtop above it, a berth for a kip, a proper toilet and a freshwater shower on the back deck.
The enclosed cabin keeps the weather out, while the Shockwave suspension seat takes the sting out of long runs across Moreton Bay. Twin 16-inch Garmin screens and Yamaha HelmMaster joystick control round out the helm.
For the trip home, grab a spot on the rear-facing folding bench and watch the wake.
