It’s back!!! Our 3rd Boatchata is on and tickets are live!

Boatchata isn’t just a boat party. It’s part of our story.

Refinery Dance was founded by Gemma Jordan | Bachata Coach in 2024 and was announced to the community on the very first edition.

Since then it’s become our chance to pause, unwind, and celebrate the new connections we’ve made.

It’s happening November 8, from Fremantle

The boat has a strict capacity and we hit it every year within a few weeks of tickets going on sale.

I didn’t start Bachata to become a professional or to even teach. I started it as a way to get out of the house and meet new people.

I always loved dancing but what kept me going with Bachata was that it gave me a place where I could just show up.

I didn’t need to rely on others to join me and I always knew that from the moment I arrived (even if I had to drag myself of the couch sometimes!) I’d always feel better for going.

The way I run my classes now holds all of these experiences front of mind.

So whether you’re an absolute beginner looking to get started or you’ve been learning Bachata and want to get better- I’ve been where you are and can help you.
